Korean Ribs

Korean Ribs are flanken cut (cut lengthwise across the rib bone) and are approximately 1.5 cm thick. This mean they don’t require the slow cook nature of traditional English short ribs. Korean Ribs are great marinated and grilled, smoked or our latest quick favourite in the air fryer! This recipe is ultra simple and can be served as a meal or appetizer.

Ingredients:

  • 1 pack Burke Creek Ranch Korean cut ribs

  • 3/4 cup store bought Korean or Japanese BBQ sauce (Costco has a delicious one now called Bachan’s Authentic)

  • cilantro, sesame seeds or peanuts to garnish

Directions:

  • Pat the defrosted ribs dry, then put in a ziplock bag, add approximately 3/4 cup of asian style BBQ sauce, or enough to coat and cover. Marinate minimum 6 hours to overnight.

  • Set Airfryer to 400 degrees for 6 minutes, lay ribs flat on basket, do not stack. Cook for 3 minutes, then flip and baste with excess marinade. Cook for another 3 minutes. Ribs will be sticky and delicious!
