Lasagna Soup

Creamy, rich and delicious warm your soul soup.  Use either our lean ground beef or our Italian Sausage, or a mixture of the two. Cream is optional but adds such a nice decadent touch.

Ingredients:

  • 1lb grass finished beef or 1 pack Burke Creek Ranch Italian Sausage

  • 1 onion

  • 6 cloves garlic

  • 1 can diced tomatoes

  • 1 jar marinara with basil

  • 1tsp oregano

  • 2tbsp tomato paste

  • 4 cups beef or chicken broth

  • 12 broken noodles

  • 1/2 cup cream

  • 1 cup mozzarella

  • 1/4 cup Parmesan

Instructions:

  1. Sauté onion and garlic and set aside

  2. Cook ground beef (or de-case and scramble sausage) and add onion, garlic, tomatoes, marinara, tomato paste, oregano, broth and broken lasagna noodles

  3. When noodles (depending upon cook time of your pasta instructions) are done add cream, mozzarella and Parmesan.

  4. This is best served the day prepared as the noodles become too overcooked like.
